Amandala oscillation is also known Mandala oscillation. As one of the pioneers in the history of Chinese rock and experimental music, Fan Wang has long regarded sound and music creation as a tool for individual corrections rather than entertainment products. Thirteen years later, the soon to be released upcoming album Amandalaom is a sound column composed of a large number of composite sound waves which corresponds to the array sequence of human chakras and simulates a field explosion reactor of quantum and ion particles, creating a tool that works on pineal gland.
In the DISIKOU art project, we selected the round venue of TANK Shanghai and the mandala structure installations specially set by the artists for the space. Through the 4th channel, we entered the 96KHZ ultra-volume full-frequency high-density and full-scale surround noise and the full-sensory experience of Amandala oscillation, which is beyond the 44.1KHZ record experience.
CAM DEAS is a musician and sound artist from London. He creates a wide range of works, from solo acoustic guitar to live electro-acoustic works to pure computer-synthesized music, constantly exploring composition, improvisation, and the space between those two. Recently, his creative field has expanded to sound installations, and his work explores the movement and the experience of time. Cam's latest album Time Exercises, released last year by The Death of Rave, is "a bold attempt at polyphonic changeable and discordant tuning produced in the exploration of computer synthesis."
